Artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, deep learning, robots — whatever you call them, National Science Foundation (NSF) researchers have been at it since day one. Their experience has yielded dividends for society and insights . . . even into robot psychology.

Scientists now know robots can sometimes use a pick-me-up, which is why they've created a series of robot motivational posters.
