All this week researchers and scientists have been gathering in Vilnius, Lithuania for the first EGI User Forum, co-hosted with the European Middleware Initiative (EMI) Technical Conference, held from 11-14 April 2011.
The conference aims to showcase the diversity of the EGI community, as well as the different use cases, projects and initiatives that are using grid computing and associated technologies in their work.
This year's User Forum is being organized by EGI.eu, Vilnius University and LITNET with the support of the EGI-InSPIRE and local secretariat BAIP.
If you can't be at the User Forum yourself but are keen to get a sneak peek at what's been going on help is at hand. The e-Science Talk project has put together a team of bloggers who are posting news live from Vilnius so you don't miss out. Simply go to the GridCast blog to find out more.
