Image of the week: XKCD - romance, sarcasm, math and language Image courtesy XKCD Our Image of the Week is XKCD, a cartoon strip which a recent New York Times article said was the hottest thing among the technorati. Written by Randall Munroe — a grad student with a degree in physics and experience in working with robots for NASA — it’s been described as “a webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math and language.” The strip comes with its own disclaimer, below “Warning: this comic occasionally contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children), unusual humor (which may be unsuitable for adults), and advanced mathematics (which may be unsuitable for liberal-arts majors).” But we all find it funny!
