The China National Grid is a project of China's Ministry of Science and Technology to promote grid development within the country. The CNGrid comprises resources from high-performance computing centlocated around the country, mainly at universities.

The research supported by the CN Grid ranges from urban traffic studies to geological surveys to aviation manufacturing.
